The Department of Correctional Services were served with a R398 000 medical bill for former President Jacob Zuma. The bill is for president Jacob Zuma’s stay in a private hospital.
The former head of state, Zuma underwent a surgical procedure at a private hospital. Jacob Zuma is still in hospital meaning the bill is still rising.
It is still not clear as to who will be liable to pay this medical bill. The former president was released on medical parole.
The Department’s spokesperson, Mr Nxumalo said, the department is still engaged with discussions regarding the payment of the medical bills.
On the other hand the Zuma Foundation has been asking for donations on Twitter which will be channeled towards the settlement of the former head of state’s legal bills.
