Rapper AKA is reportedly demanding R5 million from Cassper Nyovest’s producers Cake Media who produced the Braai Show.
The Braai Show was previously hosted by AKA and he is arguing that he is still a partner and legally still owns part of the Braai Show.
According to City Press AKA is fighting to have the second season of the show halted and has already signed an interdict at the Johannesburg High Court.
It is reported that he withdrew the application in order to try and find an amicable resolution to the matter. The rapper is alleged to have asked for R5 million settlement.

AKA’s management company, The T Effect confirmed to City Press that the deal has not been made yet. The deal collapsed as AKA’s demands were not met.
