Last week former President Jacob Zuma’s Foundation asked for donations that will be used to pay Zuma’s legal fees. Many people were left wondering why Zuma was asking for help when he is rich.
A lot of his supporters marched the streets of KwaZuluNatal and Gauteng Provinces where they looted, burnt vehicles and destroyed property as they demanded for his release.
It seems these people are also showing support by donating towards the settling of the former head of state’s legal fees. The Foundation confirmed that they are getting more donations.

Jacob Zuma is currently serving his 15 months jail term at Estcourt prison. He was arrested following a Constitutional Court judgement that found him guilty of contempt of court.
