City Press reports that a South African software developer has been plunged into a financial crisis after delivering the platform on which fugitive prophet, Shepherd Bushiri ‘s ECG prophetic TV channel is running.
The developer, Anele Beke, has now lodged an ex parte application at the Joburg High Court.
Beke said Bushiri also asked him to order 100 000 set top boxes for the first phase of the project in addition to creating the software platform.
After Beke had installed the platform and it was functional, Bushiri did not make any payments, as had originally been agreed.
The agreement between Bushiri and Beke was for a once off cash payment and 40% of all revenue from the channel.
Beke said efforts to contact Bushiri after the Prophetic Channel went LIVE were fruitless. The channel went LIVE on 17 March 2018.
