Zinhle Mabena’s domestic workers flee death threats

City Press reports that Zinhle Mabena’s two domestic workers fled to Lesotho after being warned by a mysterious caller not to testify against the former Isibaya actress.

Zinhle appeared in court on Monday on charges of assaulting her estranged husband, Robert Ngwenya, at their Midrand house in June 2020.

A 36 seconds voice note was played in court, in which the two domestic workers revealed to Ngwenya that they were receiving death threats from a male person warning them not to testify against Zinhle in court.

The case was postponed to 10 September 2021.
