Sunday world reports that Zimbabwean fugitive, Kudzai Mushonga, who is dating socialite, Khanyi Mbau, has been reported to the police after stealing R1, 2 million from a Nigerian man.
The newspaper reports that Mushonga used fake South African Identity documents with the name Derrick Lefa Nzula to con the Nigerian.
The Nigerian man, James Aliyu, bought two cars, a Mercedes Benz worth R720 000 and a Jaguar worth R500 00 after Mushonga introduced himself as Nzula.
When Aliyu went to the traffic department to change the cars into his name, he was told that this was not possible as the documents that Nzula had given him were fake.
After thoroughly investigating, Aliyu found out that Nzula was actually Mushonga.
Mushonga, speaking from Dubai, told the newspaper that he will not pay back the money as Aliyu was a criminal and was wanted by the FBI.
