Soweto Music and Entertainment Academy took to Instagram to release a statement following the death of Mpura and Killer Kau.
They revealed that the accident happened on Marikana road(N4 Northwest).
The accident took lives of 3 members affiliated with the record label SMEA.
The trio was traveling to a gig in Rustenburg with other artists in the car.

Involved in this fatality was hit maker and Amapiano co-pioneer Killer Kau,Thando Tot who was his Dj,TD who was SMEA’s official road manager,Mpura Mpura Artist,The Voice (Mpura’s Dj) and 1 female.
They also asked fans to allow families of the late stars to be given space to grieve.
