Connie Ferguson’s sister has shared details about Shona Ferguson’s 33 day battle with Covid-19. She gave an account of when shona was first diagnosed with Covid-19 right up until his last day on earth.

Connie’s sister revealed that Shona fought for his life for just over a month before he succumbed to the Covid-19 on the 30th of July.

She revealed that Shona was diagnosed with Covid-19 on the 26th of June 2021. The treatment started at home for about a week before he was admitted to Pine Haven hospital on July 3 where he struggled with low oxygen levels.

He was then moved to High Care and after doing much better he was discharged from Pine Haven. On the 10th of July he went back home.

On July 11 he was admitted back to Pine Haven hospital after his health worsened. On July 15th Shona Ferguson’s health deteriorated. He was then airlifted to Milpark Hospital on July 16th.

Shona Ferguson spent two weeks in the Intensive care unit at Milpark Hospital. The end came on July 30 when Shona finally gave up and succumbed to Covid-19.
