Former President Jacob Zuma’s daughter Duduzile Zuma was among those who welcomed Ngizwe Mchunu back from jail after he was granted R2000 bail by the Randburg’s Magistrate’s Court.
Mchunu handed himself over to the police on Monday last week on allegations that he instigated unrest in KwaZuluNatal and Gauteng.
Violence broke after former President Jacob Zuma handed himself over to the authorities after he was found guilty of contempt of court. Mchunu is facing charges of inciting public violence and contravening the Disaster Management Act.
Mchunu’s supporters, who included Duduzile Zuma were dancing and singing as they welcomed Mchunu back from jail.
Duduzile Zuma has been vocal on social media ever since her father’s arrest. She was also accused of inciting violence through use of social media.
