Idols SA judge Unathi Nkayi’s marriage to Thomas Msengana broke down after she discovered that he was allegedly sexting a Joburg woman.

The star said she couldn’t deal with the pain alone but engaged into alcohol.

Unathi said in dealing with the shame of divorce, she turned to the bottle in order to fight depression.

However, she said dealing with the shame of not being able to keep up with the dream led her to become an alcohol addict.
