Renowned actress Dawn Thandeka King has taken a break from her acting job. The actress revealed that she is tired and is living with depression.
Dawn Thandeka who became popular for playing MaNgcobo on Uzalo was speaking to the Daily Sun. This after posting a video on her Instagram where she said she was emotionally drained.
The actress left Durban where Uzalo is based and relocated to Johannesburg for her new acting role on DiepCity. She said relocating strained her entire family as she was forced to change her lifestyle including looking for new schools for her kids.
Dawn Thandeka lost her father last month and this may have contributed to her stress. The actress revealed that she was hospitalised last week and that she is currently on medication.
She went further to say that she has taken a break from Mzansi Magic’s DiepCity in which she plays the role of Thandiwe. Dawn Thandeka also said she will be going back to work as soon as she is better.
