Popular long distance runner, Caster Semenya, has failed to qualify for the olympics after falling short of the qualifying time.
Semenya clocked a time of 15:23 when she won the race at Kings Park Stadium in Durban on Friday.
However, she needed to have clocked a time of 15:10.
Caster ‘s former coach Jean Venter blamed the wind for Semenya’ s failure to qualify.
Caster still has up to the 29th of June to qualify.
The 2021 Olympics will be held in Tokyo, Japan in July.
