Kaizer Chiefs Fires Coach Gavin Hunt With Immediate Effect

Kaizer Chiefs has parted ways with Coach Gavin Hunt, assistant coaches Dillon Sheppard and Authur Zwane will take charge of the senior team.

Following their 2-1 defeat to Black Leopards this week,  Amakhosi’s management was forced to pull the trigger before the end of the season.

The historic run towards the CAF Champions league semi-final was not enough to save the four time league winner from being releaved off his duties before finishing one season into a 3 year contract he signed in September last year.

The club released a statement stating that Kaizer Chiefs has terminated coach Gavin Hunt’s contract with immediate effect.

Gavin Hunt oversaw 44 games for Kaizer Chiefs, winning 12 games, drawing 17 games and losing 15 games.
