Archbishop Stephen Zondo of Rivers of Living Water Ministries appeared at Sebokeng Regional Court yesterday. This follows the indictment he was served with in April 2021.
Zondo is being accused of s_exual r_ape by several of his female church members. The matter was moved to the Pretoria High Court. The trial is set to resume on the 23rd of August 2021 till the 17th of September 2021.

In the statement it is mentioned that the Archbishop welcomed the outcome of the court’s proceedings and is looking forward to the commencement of the trial.
He also thanked supporters and sympathisers for supporting him during this difficult period.
