King Goodwill Zwelithini’s first wife Sibongile Dlamini whom he married in community of property is challenging the execution of his Will.

The Zulu Royal family has confirmed that the fight over who will succeed the late King is now heading to the Pietmaritzburg Court. This comes after the passing of Queen Mantfombi Dlamini who was the Nation’s regent.

The Queen is seeking to inherit 50 percent of the late King’s Estate. The King had allegedly given his other wife Queen Mantfombi Dlamini control over his estate. Now Queen Sibongile is challenging the authenticity of the Will.

The estate involves 3 million hectares of land. In her court papers she said she married the King at the age of 20 and they were married in community of property therefore she owns 50% of his estate.

According to independent media Queen Mantfombi Dlamini’s death was due to poisoning. Post mortem revealed that her liver had poison.
