Actress Sophie Lichaba is all about adopting a positive mindset following a dark period she has gone through, depression has been a hot topic for the past week and Sophie has joined the conversation.

Speaking to Radio 2000, the actress dived in into details about the period when she was losing a lot of weight. The negativity from social media can be too much to handle but Sophie said she saw nothing wrong with her body.

She said she would still wear the same clothes she used to wear during her days as Queen Moroka on Generations. The actress says she was very depressed when she started seeing herself as a resemblance to a skeleton.

Sophie told the radio station that she was at her deepest point of depression. She said it was so deep as people started thinking that she was no more.

She said her depression was driven by South Africans who were so negative about her situation. She then asked for prayers from all South Africans as she is going through a tough time.
