After friends asked Bonang Matheba to bring back her reality show of being Bonang, she responded that she was not interested in doing season 4.
Prior to that, in 2019, she announced that season three was the last decision because it had been the worst working experience of her life.
Bonang promised that one day she would explain why and the day came and she explained that she had not been paid all her money in full for her work.
However, the head of the company which produced Being Bonang revealed that the show was canceled because views were low and not due to women being done with it.

Adding, they said the show was not performing well and that was the reason they decided the channel not to continue.
