When rapper Kiernan Forbes introduced his 22 year old girlfriend Nelli Tembe it was clear that he was deep in love and fans noticed that AKA had a smile different from his previous relationships.
AKA was so taken by this young lady who was private thus they customarily got married a few weeks ago until death did them part.
On Sunday 11 April 2021, Nelli jumped off from a hotel’s 10th floor in Cape Town. AKA was in Cape Town with his girlfriend to celebrate a friend’s birthday while also performing at a night club on Saturday.
The couple seemed so happy as they enjoyed the mother city. AKA’s Instagram page has videos showing a glimpse of the couple’s happy times.
The night before her death, Nelli was seen twerking and having a good time with the rapper. People are wondering as to how one would go from being happy to jumping from a building.
Some fans said this was not a suicide but AKA had killed Nelli. They are saying something happened in their hotel room that led to Nelli jumping off the 10th floor.
Others compared this incident to that of Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp.
When paramedics arrived at the scene Nelli was in a critical condition, unfortunately her injuries were too severe and she was declared deceased.
