Fans of gospel singer Dr. Tumi were in shock when the news of his arrest and the charges he was facing broke the internet.

A man they viewed as decent and religious was allegedly accused of benefitting from R1.5 million gotten illegally from National Lotteries.

The gospel star got  R760 000 from fraud funds.

However, former EFF spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi rallied behind Dr. Tumi saying he is innocent.
