There is a video that emerged on social media of a man driving a convertible Mercedes Benz with a huge snake in the car. This left passersby shocked and wondering what really was happening.
The man is believed to be a traditional healer from the Eastern Cape. He caressed and touched the huge snake as he pleases. People could not help but to take pictures and videos of what was happening.
It is said that a lot of Izangomas were angered by the snake ride. Sangoma Skhunisivuthe Mkhize said the snake could be a pet because “inyoka yamadlozi” is classified and can not be paraded on the streets.
The Sangoma revealed that Izangomas have snakes called “Inyoka yamadlozi” which they are given after graduation form training underwater.
He added that the snake protects the traditional healer as well as helping him in performing his duties as a healer.
It is however unknown if this Eastern Cape man is a Sangoma or not. Some people keep pythons as pets, maybe this was his pet.
