Popular Amapiano producer, DJ Maphorisa, is in trouble after he got paid R3500 to promote an upcoming music label owner ‘s artists and then failing to post even one picture.
Letty Mncube, of Ukuthula Media, told the Daily Sun Newspaper that she asked DJ Maphorisa to promote her artists in early March and he charged her R48 000.
Letty said she was given a contract to sign by DJ Maphorisa which was between her company Ukuthula Media and Maphorisa’s Blaq Boy Music.
Letty said she didn’t have the R48 000 and so she ended up paying R3500 in total.
She says Maphorisa failed to post her artists on his social media pages and stopped taking her calls.
The newspaper says DJ Maphorisa hung up when they called him and did not answer again.
