Many celebrities have been opening up about their HIV statuses and have since became the public faces of those living with HIV.

At number 1 is Chriselda Dudumashe, she has lived with HIV for many years. This radio host was diagnosed with HIV 2 decades ago.  She serves in the board of the South African National Aids Council.

At number 2 is Musa Njoko, she has been living with HIV ever since she was 22 years old. She said she was devastated after finding out as the doctor told her she has 3 months to live.

At number 3 is Lesogo Motsepe, the actress was popular for her role on Isidingo. In 2011 she revealed on World Aids Day that she had been HIV positive for 13 years. She passed on in 2014 after she stopped taking ARVs.

At number 4 is Saidy Brown, she was diagnosed with HIV at the age of 14. Denial made her keep her status a secret. She was born with HIV and her older siblings were negative.
