All charges against Norma Mngoma, the estranged wife of former Finance Minister, Malusi Gigaba has been withdrawn by the National Prosecuting Authority.

Mngoma appeared at the Hatfield Magistrate’s Court in Pretoria to face charges of malicious damage to property and crimen injuria.

Last year, Norma allegedly damaged a Mercedes Benz G Wagon which Malusi had borrowed from his friend Peterson Siyaya.

Mngoma spent a night behind bars whereas her gadgets were seized by the Hawks.

Talking to the SABC news crew Mngoma said the past 8 months have been so difficult for her because of what she had to go through.

She added that she is ready to counter challenge Malusi Gigaba. Norma also said she is going through a divorce with Malusi thus she prefers to be called Mngoma.

She revealed that Malusi used his connections with the Hawks to seize her gadgets in order to delete certain information relating to state capture.
