The King of the Zulu Nation, King Goodwill Zwelithini KaBhekuzulu has been laid to rest at KwaNongoma in KwaZuluNatal.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the eulogy at the official memorial service today.
Ramaphosa is expected to address the importance of the King to both South Africa and AmaZulu.
The longest serving Zulu Monarch died of Covid-19 complications last week.
He has been described as a bastion of Zulu tradition and strong traditional leadership and is praised for reviving the Zulu culture.
