PP Busisiwe Mkhwebane Opens A Case Against Fikile Mbalula

Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has opened a case of crimen injuria and contempt against Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula.

This comes after the Minister tweeted that she is a hired gun. Mbalula said he is ready to back his claims up.

Mbalula’s tweet came after Ace Magashule, the ANC Secretary General told the Sunday Times that the party’s principled MPs would not vote with the opposition for a motion that would lead to the sacking of Mkhwebane.

ANC is divided ahead of a parliamentary vote to institute an inquiry into Mkhwebane’s fitness to hold office. Below is what Mbalula tweeted.
