The highly anticipated meeting between former President Jacob Zuma and ANC’s top six leadership at the Party’s Luthuli House did not go ahead with Zuma saying he didn’t know that there was a gathering.
Speaking to News24, Zuma’s spokesperson said they were not even aware that there will be a meeting at Luthuli.
Zuma is facing two year jail term for defying the Constitutional Court ruling forcing him to appear before the Zondo Commission.
He was expected to meet the ANC top six structure led by President Cyril Ramaphosa on. Monday. The ANC intended to inform Zuma that he has an obligation to respect the law.
Reports are saying Zuma had earlier suggested a virtual meeting instead of him travelling to Luthuli.
