Four years ago Babes Wodumo gained the name Gqom Queen because of her unmatched talent and performance back then. She revealed during MacG’s podcast that she used to make R1 million in a week.
Babes Wodumo said she is now making R60 000. Back then she would make R120 000 to R150 000 per gig as she would be booked for 8 gigs between Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
She said on a Friday she would get 3 to 4 gigs and was charging R150 000 per gig. On Saturday she would have 3 to 2 gigs and on Sunday she would have 1 or 2.
