Former Miss SA, Zozibini Tunzi recently headed online to share her thoughts on the recent developments in Fresh and Euphonik’s rape accusation case.

In a series of tweets, Tunzi expressed disappointment in the South African justice system and also said Euphonik’s online actions were uncalled for.

“I haven’t been on Twitter and just waking up this morning to catch up on the happenings of the weekend has been heavy. The justice system is extremely flawed when it comes to the protection of victims of rape and abuse, especially if the accused is in a position of power.

“Learning that Vuyo has been here having the best time while being accused of rape and having Euphonik continuously antagonizing Nampree and making a joke of everything is uncalled for. I’m sad but not shocked because this is where we are as a country,” she wrote.

@Mdu_Makhosini said: “Rape culture is us. These things are the fruits of our failing justice system… people will do things if they think they can get away with it, worse when they have gotten away with it…. injustice breeds more injustice.”

@sineh_msibi said: “I’m so happy you are saying something about this. Celebrities just mute when these things happen.”
