Popular Musician, King Monada (Kutso Steven Kgatla), has told the Sowetan newspaper that he lives in his village of birth, Mokgoloboto, because it inspires his music.
King Monada, who has two wives and many children, says he only travels to Johannesburg if he has an interview or a show, but will never live there.
Last year, King Monada built himself a massive R1. 5 Million mansion in the village, and said he is not concerned if people are judging him or not.
He started off his career as a dancer in 2005 and is now one of the most popular musicians in South Africa.
King Monada Says he recorded his first single, Dolly My Love, with the help of Mpho Madalani and Khutso Selowa who let him use their equipment.
Currently, he is being managed by Albert Makawela.
