The Sowetan reports that South African women are rushing to a Krugersdorp Plastic surgeon, Dr Brian Monalisa, who is one of the only 14 black plastic surgeons in the country.
Dr Monalisa said the most requested procedure by women is the mommy make-over. This is a procedure where women who just given birth ask to have extra skin removed from around their stomach and breasts.
He said the most requested procedure by men is male b_reast enlargement, liposuction of the stomach and skincare.
Other procedures most requested by women include body contouring, tummy tucks and a Brazilian bu_tt lift.
Dr Monalisa told the Sowetan said he declines when people come in with unrealistic expectations, for example when an overweight person comes in saying they want to look like Ayanda Thabethe.
Dr Monalisa graduated from the University Of Cape Town.
