Bamuza Sono, the retired Jomo Cosmos player and son of the founder of the club, Jomo Sono, has hit hard times.

The City Press reports that Bamuza owes Joburg municipality up to R500 000 in rates, electricity and water bills.

Bamuza risks losing his property through auction if he does not pay up the money he owes the city.

In 2019 Bamuza also almost lost his R3 Million mansion in Johannesburg after failing to pay up bank loans.

Bamuza last paid his rates since 2015 and the court has given him seven days to pay up or defend his case in court.
