Dj Kotin was born on 7 July, 1984 in Mandeni, North of KwaZuluNatal. He is a producer, musical artist and a Deejay.
His birth name is Siyabonga Mduduzi and he gained fame for his ability to rock the crowds at outdoor events and for his club DJ skills.
Kotin got his name ‘Kotin’ (Cotton) from the way he dresses, so when he started deejaying he saw it fit to adopt the name DJ Kotin.
Besides music, DJ Kotin owns a couple of businesses. He is into the hospitality industry and is the founder of Kotin Records.
The year 2020 proved to be an even better year for Kotin as a producer and a businessman. He managed to sign sign top class artists in order to expand his business, the Kotin Records family.
He signed Andile Mpisane, Drama Drizzy, Sneizey and Costah Dolla. Four of his artists managed to produce hits that dominated the airwaves.
Kotin has toured most of the major festivals in South Africa and Southern Africa. He recently released a single featuring Sneizey.
