Rusternburg mayor Mpho Khunou is facing harassment allegations after threatening his ex-lover.
He threatened Makgatlha with R300, 000 is she do not desist from destroying his good name.
Makgatlha received the letter demanding her to withdraw any defamatory and harmful statements she had made against Mr Khunou.
The women allegedly accused Khunou of distributing her nudes and private messages between the two of them to a third party.
