Former president Jacob Zuma was due to testify at the State Capture Inquiry this week.

However, on Monday morning, Zuma confirmed that he will not appear at the inquiry.

His lawyers say his review application to set aside Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo’s refusal to recuse himself is still being heard and appearing before the inquiry will undermine this process.

Despite Zuma’s no-show, the commission’s team on Monday went all-out in preparation of his appearance.
