Yesterday uMkhonto we Sizwe veterans held a marathon meeting with former President Jacob Zuma at Nkandla and it lasted 7 hours.
The MK veterans association says it’s meeting with Zuma was a success. The veterans were being led by their President Kebby Maphatsoe.
They pledged their full support for President Jacob Zuma and his decision to defy the Constitutional Court order compelling him to appear before the State Capture Commission.
The Association also said they will oppose any attempt to arrest Jacob Zuma for defying the Constitutional Court regarding the Zondo Commission.
According to Carl Niehaus, Zuma told the Association his reasons for defying the Court and the State Capture Commission.
Among many things he stated that the Zondo Commission is biased and unfair to him. Niehaus said as the MK they fully agree with what the President said to them and they will do whatever it takes to protect him.
