Norma Mngoma formerly known as Norma Gigaba has been vindicated by the Pretoria High Court after they found that her arrest by the Hawks was unlawful.

The former Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba’s ex wife was arrested in July last year after retaliating as a result of being cheated on time and time again.

Norma was arrested on charges of assault and malicious damage to property after her husband Malusi Gigaba opened a case against her.

She apparently damaged a Mercedes Benz G Wagon G63 AMG believed to be have belonged to her husband’s friend.

The G Wagon belonged to Peterson Siyaya and repairs were said to cost up to R200 000.

Today the Pretoria High Court Judge handed out a ruling that the arrest was not lawful at all and Norma will appear again in court on Friday.

The Hawks were ordered to return all the information that they downloaded on her devices and they were also ordered to pay all her costs.
