Kaizer Chiefs are stuck in South Africa and can not fly to Morocco for their Champions League match after the Morrocan Embassy in Pretoria did not respond to their application for visas, although they applied three weeks ago.

The team has even obtained the assistance of the Department of International Relations (Dirco) , without success.

Kaizer Chiefs are set to play Wydad in Casablanca on Sartuday. Kaizer Chiefs had to postpone their flight yesterday as they had not received their visas.

According to FIFA rules, if Kaizer Chiefs fails to travel, they will forfeit the match 2-0.

Kaizer Chiefs said on their website :

The club remains in limbo as all lines of communication seem to have been shut down as the club and SAFA have not received any correspondence from the Moroccan authorities on this matter.
