President Cyril Ramaphosa celebrated the arrival of the country’s first Covid-19 vaccines.

However, officials realised after the arrival that the vaccines were expiring earlier than they had planned.

The first million doses of the Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine which arrived at OR Tambo airport last week took health authorities by surprise.

They discovered that the vaccines were expiring well ahead of what had been planned for.

Therefore, President Cyril Ramaphosa is being mocked for ordering expired vaccines.

He was cartoned calling the Indian official demanding funds spent on the vaccines.
