ANC members aligned to South Africa President, Cyril Ramaphosa, have revealed that EFF CIC, Julius Malema, and other Zuma allies have been holding private meetings over the past few weeks.

The Sunday Times newspaper reports that Ramaphosa supporters believe there is a re-alignment of forces taking place, and they are not sure what shape it will eventually take.

People with intimate knowledge of the meetings said Mzwandile Masina (Ekurhuleni Mayor) and Andile Lungisa (Former ANC Councillor in Nelson Mandela Bay), visited Malema’s home in Johannesburg last Sunday.

Malema travelled to Zuma’s homestead at Nkandla on Friday, after a viral tweet earlier in the week, where Malema requested to have tea with Zuma.

The Nkandla meeting between Zuma and Malema was initially portrayed as spontaneous, but the new information point to a fact there was a build up.

The Nkandla tea meeting between Malema and Zuma was also attended by Zuma Allies, Tony Yengeni and former EFF national chairman, Dali Mpofu.

The Sunday world newspaper reported today that Zuma told Malema at the meeting that he would communicate his decision to his tea guests, on appearing before the Zondo commission, in their next meeting, which will be held soon, after consulting his lawyers. .
