A young KZN graduate, Blessing Nzuza, has developed an app, Respo, that makes it easy to call an ambulance in emergencies.

The app is available in popular app stores and was funded by the Technology Innovation Agency (R487 000) and the Small Enterprise Finance Agency (R1 Million).

Respo is linked to ER24 and a subscription costs R59 per month.

Sarichandfamous.com was able to go through the registration process up to subscriprion point.

The app has a set up fee of R150 and A subscription fee of R59 or R848 per annum.

Other features include the ability to add a family member’s number as a contact in case of emergency.
