Former South Africa State Security Minister, Sydney Mufamandi, this week made shocking revelations about the abuse of  the State Security Agency (SAA), to deal with  former President, Jacob Zuma’s personal and domestic affairs.

Mufamandi told the Zondo commission that after the alleged poisoning of Zuma in 2015, the case was investigated by the SSA.

Mufamandi said the SSA had people guarding Zuma ‘s now estranged wife, Nompumelelo Ntuli (MaNtuli) after she was accused of being the person behind the poisoning.

He said in his view, she was under forced detention without going through due process.

He said he has sufficient evidence that Ma Ntuli did not agree to be kept under those conditions.

The poisoning case was dropped in 2019, after the NPA announced that no one will be charged over the alleged poisoning.
