Actress Dawn Thandeka King was announced to be leaving Uzalo not so long ago, after her five year appearance on the soapie.
The entertainment commentator Phil Mphela had just announced her departure just a few moments back.
After playing MaNgcobo for five years on the SABC 1 show in Durban, the actress will be officially leaving and will be relocating back to Johannesburg.
The star was surely promised greener pastures in the city of gold as she joins the brand new series called Diepsloot.

Some of her fans are already crossing fingers for her to secure a gangster character on the show. Kgopolo Mphela announced this on Twitter.
However fans are not ready to part ways with MaNgcobo on Uzalo.
