Comedian turned musician Bobo Mbhele who is mostly famous for his catchy phrase “Ilwa Ntombo” have been trending on social media.
The social media star rose to fame a few years ago when he posted a video where he called himself a slay queen. He also told girls to be wary as he would take their men.
His phrase has gained popularity with famous brands using it as marketing strategies and personalities such as Somizi using it when judging Idols SA.
Ilwa Ntombo is Zulu for “Girl Fight” and it basically means women should not allow themselves to be ugly and they should fight to remain beautiful.
His catch phrase has become famous thus some people decided to turn it into a song and it is doing fairly well in the music charts.
They released a song using his phrase and his name was not even mentioned on it. Bobo was left fuming as he was also planning to release a similar song.
He advised his followers not to download it saying that the culprits will be dealt with. The song even gained attention from Dj Maphorisa.
Maphorisa promised to work with Bobo on the song which is yet to be released.
