Controversial self proclaimed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary are in hot soup after the Malawian High Court granted authorities to issue warrants of arrest for the couple.

This was done so that the couple can be extradited backĀ  to South Africa to face fraud, money laundering and theft charges.

The extradition of the couple has been long awaited ever since they ignored their bail conditions and fled to their native country last month under mysterious circumstances “Borne and Clyde”.

On Monday it was reported that the Malawian Attorney General, Dr Chikosa Silungwe, gave the Malawian High Court permission to issue a warrant of arrest for the fugitives so that they can face criminal charges in South Africa.
