Calls against Gender Based Violence have grown even louder and rightfully so. The 16 days of Activism against gender based violence started on the 1st of December sparking serious conversations on social media.

President Cyril Ramaphosa called gender based violence issues a national pandemic. Many celebrities and influencers have weighed in on the matter.

Pearl Thusi a successful tv personality and actress has added her voice to the conversations around gender based violence.

The actress has been vocal in the matter using her social media platforms to raise awareness. She also has a trending hashtag Men Must Heal.

The reason being that the anger and violence portrayed by men comes from a deep place of darkness within them which they must heal from.

The Queen Sono star took to Instagram yesterday to have a live video discussing with her followers issues on gender based violence.

She said not all men are trashy and that some men are actually for women and are against gender based violence. She said some men are pets and women should encourage such behaviour.
