Former Bidvest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United defender Tefu Mashamaite has been away from the game for a couple of years now.

He has been planting the right seeds to ensure that life after football goes as well as his playing career.

Tefu said he has not literally retired from football as he can still explore other avenues of football besides playing.

He revealed that his plan was to play soccer for atleast 10 years which enabled him to play in Sweden.

Now that Tefu is not playing soccer anymore he is not really worried about his next salary because he always has something planned.

Tefu said he is proud to have represented his home province of Limpopo and South Africa as a whole during his career.

He also said his most exciting experience during his career was being the Captain for Wits at the age of 23 and winning the Nedbank Cup.
