Leader of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church Prophet Shepherd who escaped South Africa has announced a crossover prayer meeting that will be a live event at a stadium, Sunday World reported.
Bushiri announced on Wednesday 2 December via social media inviting his followers to a 2021 crossover ceremony to be held at Bingu National Stadium in Malawi.
The ceremony is usually held at FNB stadium in Johannesburg. This is not possible since the Prophet is a fugitive who escaped justice from South Africa.
Due to Covid-19 a reasonable number of people attending the ceremony will have to adhere to WHO regulations.
Bushiri’s followers around the African continent especially from Zambia have vowed to travel to Lilongwe for the ceremony.
Bushiri is facing charges of money laundering, theft and r_ape in South Africa.
