The Crown Gospel Music Awards are one of the biggest prestigious events on the entertainment calender since its inception 13years ago.

The event was founded by Zanele Mbokazi’s World Gospel Powerhouse as a way of celebrating some of the best voices in the music industry and this year fans of the event were looking forward to it.

However with the constraints made by Coronavirus this year’s event had to be done virtually. Only 200 tickets were available for purchase so as to follow the Covid-19 restrictions.

The event was pre recorded on the 13th of November and was aired on SABC 2 on the 29th of November. Kelly Khumalo was however not impressed by the results of the awards.
