Prophet Shepherd Bushiri is definitely making a lot of money from selling his church’s products and other services offered by the church.
A former general manager and accountant in charge of finances in Bushiri’s church told a journalist in 2016 that Bushiri was making a lot of money.
The money comes from selling anointing oil, water, badges, wrist bands and other products. Anointing oil was bringing in R1,5 million every week.
Water was bringing in R300 thousand while wrist bands and badges were bringing R250 thousand per week.
The accountant added that offerings and seed money would go to the church’s bank account.
He revealed that the church was not paying government tax. He also said the then Minister of Police Fikile Mbalula wanted to have Bushiri arrested for evading tax and more.
