Ra_pe Accused Evangelist Timothy Omotoso Denied Bail

Ra_pe accused televangelist Timothy Omotoso has been denied bail in the Port Elizabeth High Court.

The court found that he had not brought new facts in challenging his accusations.

Members and supporters of Omotoso’s JDI church stood outside the High Court after the application was dismissed.

His charges include ra_pe, human trafficking and recruiting young girls for sexual exploitation.

Omotoso has been in jail since his arrest in 2017.
